Kamloops Buddhist Temple
Kamloops is a city in south central British Columbia, Canada, at the confluence of the two branches of the Thompson River and near Kamloops Lake. It is the largest community in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District.
The Kamloops Buddhist Temple was established over 60 years ago, and is a member Temple of the Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temples of Canada.
Services are held on the first and third Sunday of each month, at 10:30 am. Reverend Yasuhiro Miyakawa leads the services, which are conducted in both English and Japanese.
Everyone is welcome to attend services and fully participate, or simply observe if you prefer. Reverend Miyakawa or a Temple Board member will be happy to answer any questions visitors may have.
The Temple is located at 361 Poplar Street in North Kamloops (please refer to the map below) .
